2011 was a year of colossal achievement for Clean Fuels Ohio. Despite the toughest economy in decades, membership grew to an all-time high, Ohio Green Fleets had a highly successful first year, and the organization saw major grant success.
The organization also renewed and broadened its focus on state policy, developing a basic framework that will position Ohio as a leader in sustainable advanced transportation energy, all while helping to reduce harmful vehicle emissions and boost our economy.
Clean Fuels Ohio sees its work as critical to Ohio’s transition to cleaner, advanced energy and technology developments. Through effective programs like Ohio Green Fleets, the Clean Cities grant and much more, the organization will continue to work in partnerships to achieve revolutionary changes in the transportation energy realm. These efforts are vital to job creation, security, environmental sustainability, and Ohio’s role as a leader in this new advanced energy economy.
