Employee Training Guide
Your Investment in Ethanol
In order to ensure the success of your E85 station, your employees must be trained and equipped to accurately inform customers about your new product. First and foremost, it is essential that your employees know why the station has invested in ethanol and why the fuel is important. Before administering this employee training information, explain to your employees the importance to biofuels for the environment, Ohio's economy, and working to achieve independence from foreign oil.
You may also want to highlight the concentration of vehicles in your area that are able to use E85, and how this is reflected in your station's important business move. In addition, the public's demand for E85 has been rapidly increasing and your station is working to fulfill that demand.
Once you have established why your station is now serving ethanol, you can begin to educate your employees about the fuel and the cars that use it.
