Clean Energy Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Station Fueling Vehicles in Seville, OH
Clean Energy, sub-grantee in the Ohio Advanced Transportation Partnership (OATP), has begun testing its LNG fueling facility in Seville, Ohio. Clean Energy is developing four (4) natural gas stations throughout Ohio with assistance from a grant administered by Clean Fuels Ohio with funding from the U.S. Department of Energy.

Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Projects Wanted!
The Ohio Advanced Transportation Partnership (OATP) has funding for EV infrastructure projects. With the help of the Department of Energy (DOE) Clean Cities Program funding through the ARRA, Clean Fuels Ohio will bring plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) charging to Ohio.
Clean Fuels Ohio Celebrates Ranking 3rd in the Country for Petroleum Fuel Displacement
Excitement filled the Clean Fuels Ohio office after The Dayton Business Journal reported last week that Clean Fuels Ohio ranked 3rd in the country for petroleum displacement. The ranking is based on the annual Department of Energy survey which rates Clean Cities Coalitions on the amount of petroleum displacement based on their work. Clean Fuels Ohio is one of over 80 coalitions nationwide.

City of Logan Launches CNG Street Sweeper
On April 21, 2011 the City of Logan, in partnership with Hocking College, held a press conference to unveil the Logan’s first CNG street sweeper that will be fueled at the Hocking College Energy Institute in Logan with local CNG. Jerry Hutton, Dean of the Hocking College Energy Institute and Board member of Clean Fuels Ohio generously arranged, planned and hosted the unveiling and gave a tour of the Energy Institute after the event. Dr. Jerry Hutton will sell the local CNG to Logan for $1.85 gasoline gallon equivalent (GGE), $2.00 less per GGE than the current price of diesel.
