Launched in the spring of 2009, the Ohio CNG Consortium is a working group designed to bring fleets, vendors, and gas suppliers together to develop new CNG projects and stay updated on the latest CNG industry developments. Originally created to bring together interested parties around a number of state and federal stimulus funding sources, the Ohio CNG Consortium was successful in securing over $6 million to deploy nearly 100 CNG vehicles and 8 refueling stations across Ohio.
Moving forward, the Ohio CNG Consortium is committed to leveraging these successes in order to significantly expand the number of CNG fleets and stations in Ohio. By creating public-private partnerships, securing additional grant funding, and performing regular education and outreach, Clean Fuels Ohio and its Ohio CNG Consortium partners are pleased to be catalysts helping to foster the rebirth of CNG in Ohio’s transportation sector.

The Ohio CNG Consortium meets on a quarterly basis and is open to all fleets, vendors, energy suppliers or individuals interested in furthering CNG projects throughout the state. To get involved contact Clean Fuels Ohio today.
