Launched by Clean Fuels Ohio in the spring of 2009, the Ohio Propane Collaborative is a working group designed to bring fleets, vendors, and propane suppliers together to develop new transportation related propane projects, showcase equipment and infrastructure and provide information on the latest industry and technology developments. Originally created to bring together interested parties around a number of state and federal stimulus funding sources, the Ohio Propane Collaborative was successful in securing over $6 million to deploy nearly 100 CNG vehicles and 8 refueling stations across Ohio.
Moving forward, the Ohio Propane Collaborative is committed to leveraging these successes in order to significantly expand the number of propane powered fleets and refueling stations in Ohio. By creating public-private partnerships, securing additional grant funding, and performing regular education and outreach, Clean Fuels Ohio and its Ohio Propane Collaborative partners are pleased to be catalysts helping to foster the growth of propane fuel in Ohio’s transportation sector.
The Ohio Propane Collaborative meets on a quarterly basis and is open to all fleets, vendors, energy suppliers, or individuals interested in furthering propane projects throughout the state. To get involved contact Clean Fuels Ohio today.
