Clean Fuels Ohio was accompanied by a variety of alternative fuel industry partners to the Energy Independence Summit last week. Part of the Summit was education and outreach to congressional offices on Capitol Hill. The Energy Independence Summit is an annual event held Washington DC. This three-day event hosts speakers and panels in a number of informational sessions, brings in federal agency experts and allows Clean Cities coalitions to network to discuss best practices in the alternative transportation fuel policy sphere. Edwards is currently the General Manager for Linden’s Propane and formerly worked as the General Manager of Ferrellgas. Edwards studied at the University of Akron and Ohio Business College-Sandusky. On Tuesday, March 24, Clean Fuels Ohio will join with PowerConnect in presenting a seminar for electrical contractors certified through the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program (EVITP) and others. The meeting will take place at the Electrical Training Center, 947 Goodale Blvd. from 9-11 AM. PowerConnect is a consortium of nearly fifty electrical contracting firms serving the Columbus, Newark, Portsmouth, Chillicothe and Mansfield areas.
