Clean Fuels Ohio is excited to inform members around a new financing opportunity for alternative fuel infrastructure. The Ohio Development Services Agency is offering the Alternative Fuels Transportation Loan Program, providing financial assistance to businesses, nonprofit organizations, school districts, or local governments for the purchase and installation of alternative fuel refueling, blending, or distribution facilities and terminals. Eligible alternative fuels include E85 blend fuel, blended biodiesel, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, hydrogen, compressed air, or any power source including electricity. CNG and LNG refueling stations will be afforded preference in the evaluation of loan applications.
Questions around the program can be directed to Preston Boone, Energy Program Analyst in the Office of Community Assistance at the Ohio Development Services Agency (614.644.8864).
Clean Fuels Ohio is available to support any members or interested fleets who'd like to explore this program. Interested parties can email Clean Fuels Ohio staff member Matt Stephens-Rich or call at 614-884-7336.
