Clean Fuels Ohio is working with Marathon Technical Services to bring gaseous fuels training courses to Ohio in June and around the country for the remainder of 2018. The courses will focus on safety training and guidance related to maintenance and garage facility upgrades and building modifications that will support the use of EPACT defined natural gas, propane, and hydrogen commercially available alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs). This training is made possible by a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy Clean Cities program.
The trainings will provide hands-on education to building code officials, facility designers, fleet managers, public safety officials, and other key stakeholders about the proper and safe way to design, build, and operate garage and maintenance facilities for alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs). The courses will provide print and online training materials, in-person training sessions and site tours of well-designed gaseous fuel garages. Case studies of well-conceived, well executed and cost-effective upgrades will be provided that strike a balance between safety and cost.
You can look forward to trainings in Columbus, OH on 6/12/18 - 6/13/18 that focus on CNG and propane and a session in Canton, OH on 6/28/18 focused on H2 and CNG.
Other locations where trainings will be hosted throughout 2018 include Buffalo, NY; Long Beach, CA; Sacramento, CA; Seattle, WA; Kansas City, MO; Richmond, VA and Tucson, AZ.
