Clean Fuels Ohio is pleased to announce that Megan Stein has been promoted to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer. Megan has been with Clean Fuels Ohio since 2010. Prior to her promotion, she was Grant Administration Director and led the administration of more than $40 million in federal, state and local grants. In her new role, she is responsible for oversight of administration and business operations.
“Megan has been invaluable to our successful administration of a variety of grant funding over many years,” said Sam Spofforth, Clean Fuels Ohio Executive Director. “Now, she’ll bring her tremendous management skills, creativity, and capabilities for working with people and teams to this new role. It’s an exciting step in our organization’s development.”
Clean Fuels Ohio has also recently added several new members to its team. Kevin Fells has been hired to serve as Finance & Administration Manger. Kevin has 20 years of experience in various accounting roles, directing the full spectrum of accounting and financial management service for a diverse group of nonprofit organizations. He has also served as a board treasurer for two local nonprofits as well as in volunteer capacities with a statewide and national professional association.
Will Wright, Hallie Neuhaus and Matt Coman have joined Clean Fuels Ohio as Program Assistants. Will is responsible for assisting projects for Drive Electric Ohio as well as supporting the Electric Vehicle Student Ambassador program. He is entering his junior year at The Ohio State University and is working toward a B.S. in Economics, a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Religious Studies. Hallie is responsible for assisting projects for Clean Fuels Ohio’s fleet services, including rese
arch, contact management and other initiatives. She is in the process of obtaining a Master of Public Administration degree at the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at the Ohio State University. Matt is responsible for supporting the marketing programs at Clean Fuels Ohio targeted to members, sponsors, event attendees, and the public. He is entering his senior year at The Ohio State University where he is pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration with a specialization in marketing and a minor in environmental studies.
