Are you involved in local or state government? Are you involved in city planning or community development? Join Clean Fuels Ohio at the 2019 Midwest Green Transportation Forum & Expo. The conference will look to address some of city planners’ and local officials’ biggest questions on transportation such as government funding programs for EV charging and legislation for increased access to mobility with concerns for safety.
The rapidly changing landscape of smart and connected mobility and transportation electrification that consumers find themselves in today is one that will require not just the work from the private sector or utility providers, but the active involvement and guidance from government officials, policy makers, and city planners.
The Policy Track will include two breakout sessions on Thursday and the Planning Track will include a smart mobility charrette on Wednesday. Several panel speakers including Corey Ershow, Transportation Policy Manager for Lyft and Justin Wilson, Director of Public Policy for ChargePoint will share their experience and perspectives on the state of policy, electrification, mobility, and transportation. Additionally, speakers like Matthew Allison, Chief of Transit Operations for COTA and Shruti Vaidyanathan, Senior Advisor for Research for the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy will share their knowledge on smart mobility from a planning perspective.
“With the changing landscape of mobility and transportation, policy plays a huge role in how groups will assess and plan for the future. Having a conversation about the policies and regulations is the right step toward adapting to this evolving electrified transportation and mobility era we find ourselves in.” said Jason Phillips, Policy Director for Clean Fuels Ohio.
