As many fleet leaders and advanced vehicle industry veterans know, the National Truck Equipment Association’s (NTEA) annual Work Truck Show (WTS) is a can’t miss event. It’s simply unmatched by anything similar in the industry. In 2020, the Show will begin with the Green Truck Summit on Tuesday, March 3. The Work Truck Show will kick-off the morning of March 4 and runs through the rest of the week.
NTEA has a strategic partnership with Clean Cities. Clean Fuels Ohio (CFO) is taking advantage of this to offer our industry members and fleet partners several special opportunities at the Show!
Free Show Pass: Ohio fleets can receive a free pass to one day at the Show. Fleet leaders can pick any of the three Show days. CFO recommends Wednesday, March 4, since that’s also the special “Clean Cities Day.” (See below for details.) The free pass includes full access to the Show floor plus admission to one educational session of your choice.
Clean Cities Day, March 4: Clean Cities day is a new addition to the Show as of this year. This includes special pricing for the Green Truck Summit on March 3. Then on March 4, NTEA experts will conduct a guided tour of the most important segments of the sustainable and clean industry. The format also includes an exclusive discussion facilitated by USDOE’s Tom Cavanaugh about funding, current projects, industry issues and concerns. Any fleet leader in Ohio as well as any current Clean Fuels Ohio member is eligible to participate! Simply contact Malerie Holte to reserve your spot.
Clean Fuels Ohio Members and Fleet Stakeholders, March 5: On Thursday, March 5, Clean Fuels Ohio invites all members and fleet stakeholders to stay for a special, members-only meeting running from 9 am – 11 am in Room 206 at the Indianapolis Convention Center. We encourage you to extend your stay and visit the Show on Thursday, but you will not need a Show ticket to attend the Clean Fuels Ohio meeting. CFO will use this opportunity to share information about Ohio-specific opportunities, plus launch two new USDOE funded projects – NGV U.P.T.I.M.E, featuring a detailed study of NGV vs Diesel vehicle real-world operations and maintenance costs, as well as EV-Watts, a nationwide effort to collect, synthesize and analyze date from EV charging stations and fleet deployments. Contact Malerie Holte (firstname.lastname@example.org; 614-884-7336 ext. 304) to reserve your spot and receive the meeting room location.
NAFA Collaboration: Finally, we plan a collaborative session with the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) Heartland Chapter, which plans to hold their own side meeting during the Show. Details of this session are still under development so stay tuned.
At least four Clean Fuels Ohio staff will attend the Summit and/or the Show over three days, March 3 to 5. This is a major focus and tremendous opportunity for networking and learning. Contact Malerie Holte or Andrew Conley on the Clean Fuels Ohio staff to learn more and get involved!
