Clean Fuels Ohio is launching an initiative to make vehicles available to Ohio fleets for demonstration and data collection. Initially, two commercial electric vehicles will be available. The initiative may expand to other fuel and technology types later in 2020.
The two initial demo vehicles include:
High-Top Logistics Cargo Van, made by Adomani, EV range 130 miles, demos available beginning April 1 and for a limited time;
Endurance Commercial Pick Up Truck, made by Lordstown Motors, EV range 250 miles, demos available beginning in July
For both vehicles, Clean Fuels Ohio and the manufacturer will coordinate on insurance issues, logistics of taking possession and dropping off. Fleets will need to arrange for charging the vehicle, but Clean Fuels Ohio can help fleets identify options.
Clean Fuels Ohio is working with other vehicle manufacturers to identify other demos to make available. These may include other fuel types as well as plug-in electric.
