Jim Kelly, of Drive Electric Dayton, recently received the title “MVP of the Midwest” from the Electric Auto Association for his standout efforts to drive electric vehicle adoption. This annual award recognizes outstanding achievement in leadership, market impact, and creativity. The Electric Auto Association is a national membership organization working to advance widespread adoption of electric vehicles through education, infrastructure support, and demonstration. Drive Electric Dayton, a group of electric vehicle owners and enthusiasts in the Miami Valley, is both an EAA affiliate and a chapter of Drive Electric Ohio.
Drive Electric Dayton is an incredibly robust and impactful organization, says Brendan Kelley, Drive Electric Ohio Director. With leaders and innovators like Jim at the helm, Drive Electric Dayton has grown to more than 350 members and organized dozens of out
reach events. Jim acts as both Event Organizer and Dealer Liaison, creating opportunities for both consumers and dealers to learn about the benefits of EVs.
