This year, Clean Fuels Ohio is partnering with event management app developer, Whova, to bring attendees an unmatched virtual experience. Join us remotely for two weeks of content from September 14-25.
Hosting the conference digitally has numerous benefits. Not only do attendees not have to worry about spending the time and money on travel, they also don’t have to worry about COVID-19 and risk jeopardizing the health and safety of those around them. Registration for general attendance is 100% free and attendee participation is completely customizable. Attendees will not have to choose between overlapping sessions as this year’s event will have no instances of presentations occurring simultaneously. We will be hosting several hours of content each day with designated networking breaks. If attendees are not able to attend a session they are interested in, a recorded version will be live on the app after the session has concluded.
If an attendee is not comfortable managing their app participation via their mobile device, Whova has a desktop interface that has all of the features of their mobile version. Attendees can customize their profile within the app to include their picture and information about them. They can explore other attendee profiles as well as exhibitor and sponsor profiles. Exhibitors will have their content uploaded to their profiles so attendees can gather as much information as they need about exhibitors’ products and services. Attendees can also communicate with each other and sponsors/exhibitors via a direct messaging feature in the app and through the Community Board. If they would like to exchange contact information to continue networking outside of the app, they can use the e-business card exchange function.
Attendees do not have to be present on the app for the entire conference and they do not have to be logged on to receive messages from other attendees. Participation in this digital experience is flexible to fit your schedule. The app will be live for six months after the event has concluded so you can take advantage of the saved content. You can also network with other attendees and sponsors/exhibitors after the event has concluded.
